Terms and Conditions: easy04

Last Updated: 22/12/205

Welcome to easy04. By using our website and purchasing or listing a mobile number, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Introduction

1.1. easy04 (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a marketplace for the sale and acquisition of “Premium” or “Gold” mobile phone numbers in Australia. 1.2. We are not a telecommunications carrier. We facilitate the transfer of “Right of Use” (ROU) for specific mobile numbers.

2. Eligibility and Account

2.1. To use this site, you must be at least 18 years old and reside in Australia. 2.2. You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided (name, email, ID for porting) is accurate and matches your legal identification.

3. Nature of “Ownership”

3.1. In Australia, mobile numbers are technically owned by the Commonwealth. You are purchasing the Right of Use (ROU) for the number. 3.2. Once a transfer is complete, the new holder is responsible for maintaining the service with a telecommunications provider. If the service is disconnected or expires, the ROU may be lost.

4. Buying a Number

4.1. Selection: Prices for premium numbers are as listed and include GST (unless stated otherwise). 4.2. Payment: Full payment is required before the transfer process (porting) begins. 4.3. Porting/Transfer: We will provide the necessary account details or “Porting Authorization Code” (PAC) once payment is cleared. 4.4. Timeframes: While most mobile ports occur within 3–24 hours, you acknowledge that delays caused by telecommunications carriers are outside of easy04’s control.

5. Selling a Number (Listing)

5.1. By listing a number on easy04, you warrant that you are the legal ROU holder and that the number is active and capable of being ported. 5.2. You agree to cooperate promptly with any porting requests once a sale is confirmed. 5.3. easy04 reserves the right to remove any listing at our discretion.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

6.1. Change of Mind: Due to the digital and unique nature of mobile numbers, we do not offer refunds for “change of mind” once the transfer process has been initiated. 6.2. Failed Transfers: If a transfer fails due to a fault on our end, a full refund will be issued. 6.3. Consumer Guarantees: Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our services come with guarantees that they will be provided with due care and skill.

7. Identity Verification (ACMA Compliance)

7.1. To prevent “SIM swapping” fraud, we comply with ACMA’s identity verification standards. 7.2. You may be required to provide a valid Australian ID or undergo an SMS-based multi-factor authentication check to prove you are the authorised holder of the number.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1. easy04 is not liable for any loss of business, data, or reputation resulting from a delay in number porting or a carrier’s refusal to port a number. 8.2. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific number in dispute.

9. Governing Law

9.1. These terms are governed by the laws of [Insert State, e.g., New South Wales/Queensland], Australia.
